Interseeding in the Lower Fox River Basin Interseeding in Northeastern Wisconsin has been tried with a number of systems. To date we have had the most success planting with the double disk opener systems, although different types of wavy coulters and Lilliston units have also been tried. Waters from the Upper Fox River, Wolf River, and Lake Winnebago empty into the Lower Fox River at the outlet of Lake Winnebago. Lake Winnebago is the largest inland lake in Wisconsin, with an area of approximately square miles ( sq. km) and an average depth of 13 feet (4 meters).

We estimate the avoided flood damages and the costs of preventing development of floodplain parcels in the East River Watershed of Wisconsin’s Lower Fox River Basin. The Fox River basin contains nearly miles of streams draining over square miles of land. Most of the stream miles in the basin are considered full fish and aquatic life streams, meaning they are capable of meeting water quality standards and have the ability to support a full range of fish and aquatic life as habitat and water quality.Lower Green Bay remedial action plan for the Lower Fox River and Lower Green Bay area of concern (PUBL-WR Rev 88).
